Kdo se bojí, nesmí do lesa. Tohle platí i pro kouzelný svět v knize Melissy Albert Lískový les. Příběh vás zavede do světa pohádek, inspirovaný autory jako jsou bratři Grimmové či Tim Burton. Ano, je to velmi temný a strašidelný svět, plný nebezpečí a zlých vlků (takže se vyvarujte nošení červených kabátků). Alice, hlavní hrdinka příběhu má však do karkulky daleko, je naštvaná a odhodlaná obětovat cokoliv jen proto, aby našla svoji matku. Dokonce je odhodlaná vstoupit do Lískového lesa. Jak to s ní dopadne a na jaké pohádky během své poutě narazí, dočtete se v knize.
Obsah knihy
Alice, obyčejná puberťačka, která žije se svou neortodoxní matkou Ellou. Ella nikde moc dlouho nevydrží, jak se říká, má toulavé boty a celé své dětství Alice stráví na cestách. Jednoho dne, když je Alice ještě malá holka, někdo ji unese, neznámý muž. Únosce je však na ni velmi hodný a slíbí jí, že ji odveze za její babičkou. Její babička je totiž velmi známá spisovatelka, která napsala knihu příběhů pocházející z Lískového lesa. Nakonec vše dobře dopadne, Alice je vrácená své matce a dostane se jí vysvětlení, že ji nejspíše unesl nějaký skalní fanoušek. Když je Alice starší, zahlédne v kavárně, kde pracuje, právě neznámého muže, který vypadá, že se během uplynulých let vůbec nezměnil. Od tohoto okamžiku ví, že je něco špatně. Poté zjistí, že její matka byla unesena lidmi ze Západozemí, tedy z Lískového lesa. Vydává se tedy na pouť za její záchranou. Ale něco je špatně, někdo ji neustále sleduje, někdo ví o každém jejím kroku. Dostane se Alice z Lískového lesa bez úhony?

Rozbor knihy
Autorka se v rámci textu snaží o přirozené propojení dvou světů, toho reálného a pohádkového. Toto přirozené propojení však místy kolísá, je to jakoby si postavy vůbec nevšimli, že se svět kolem zbláznil. No nevím, jak vy, ale já bych dost řádně vyšilovala, kdyby mě někdo sledoval na každém kroku, nevěděla jak to dělá a on mi neustále podstrkoval důkazy, jak je v tom zatraceně dobrý. Měla bych problém uvěřit, že se u mé maličkosti neprojevuje paranoidní porucha. Nějaká extrémní reakce by se hodila, hlavně díky tomu, když se dozvíte, kdo je vlastně Alice zač. Zaujalo vás to? Tak rozhodně sáhněte po knize.
Jinak je příběh poutavý a já měla opět problém se od knihy odtrhnout. Autorka vás drží v neustálém napětí a vy víte, že tam něco smrdí, ale nevíte co. Jedinou vaší nadějí pro upokojení je dočíst příběh až do konce. Kniha mi připomínala jeden film, který jsem kdysi dávno shlédla, jedná se o film Inkoustové srdce, který byl natočen podle knižní předlohy stejného názvu Inkoustový svět: Inkoustové srdce. Pokud znáte, určitě vás Lískový les zaujme.
Závěrem
Knihu bych doporučila všem, kteří se rádi potulují po kouzelném světě plným příběhu. Těm, kteří si dokáží připustit, že existence těchto světů je možná, alespoň prostřednictvím snů a lidské fantazie. Příběh je poutavý a věřím, že nezaujme pouze mladší čtenáře, ale všechny generace. Především ty, kteří se rádi vrací do dětství k pohádkám.
