Kniha Mise Saturn je jednou z nich, přenese vás do budoucnosti vzdálené 50 pozemských let a představí svět, po kterém v dnešní době mnoho vědců touží.

Obsah knihy

Děj se točí kolem emzáků, ale nebojte se, žádné vyskakování  z břicha tentokrát nebude. Vedle Saturnu je  zpozorováno vesmírné těleso, které začne zpomalovat, což samozřejmě žádné přírodní těleso nedokáže. Je to tedy potvrzeno, jedná se o jiný druh životní formy s technologií, o které si může Země nechat zdát. A najednou je zahájen závod o to, která z velkých mocností Země, USA či Čína, tuto technologii získá první a dostane se o pár desítek let kupředu ve vývoji.

Rozbor knihy

Skrze autorův popis jsme svědky sestavení hvězdného týmu americké lodi. Bravurní vykreslení postav nás nutí nejen s nimi sympatizovat, ale v průběhu celé knihy se tiše modlit o jejich holé přežití. Kdo v závodě zvítězí nebo zda se lidé setkají s mimozemšťany vám prozrazovat nebudu, prostě se nechte překvapit. Ale varuji vás předem, je to trhák!

Hned ze začátku knihy je patrné, na co se autoři chtěli zaměřit a dle mého názoru se jim to povedlo. Vymysleli skupinku těch nejlepších a nejchytřejších lidí Ameriky a dali jim za úkol nemožnou věc, postavit vesmírnou loď, s kterou se dokáží dostat k Saturnu a zpět. Rozhovory se týkají politiky a hlavně technických parametrů. Pro někoho možná až moc fyziky na jednu knihu, ale věřte mi, ono to k scifi prostě patří. Kniha neobsahuje pouze vědecké popisy, ale hlavně vývoj vztahů na lodi, politických intrik a dočkáte se i romantického příběhu, i když velmi krátkého.

A komu se kniha zalíbí? Určitě ji mohu doporučit každému fanouškovi scifi na této planetě a v celém vesmíru. A nejen jim, ale také milovníkům fyziky a vesmírného inženýrství. Po akční stránce trochu pokulhává, ale nebojte, i ta se tam objeví při střetu americké strany s tou čínskou. Kniha je propletená brilantním popisem, který vás nejen vtáhne do děje, ale donutí vás ji neodložit a dočíst ji až do konce.
