Jeden z nejpopulárnějších knižních žánrů dnešní doby, severské detektivky. Abych byla přesnější, tak se většinou jedná o knižní série. Hypnotizér je kniha, která není výjimkou. Jedná se o severskou krimi, která se řadí do série, ve které je hlavní postava detektiv Joona Linna. Možná díky této popularitě se s těmito knihami roztrhl pytel a pravidelně se umísťují na horních místech žebříčku nejprodávanějších titulů. Nabízí se však otázka, zda díky tomuto vydávanému množství neklesá kvalita těchto knih.

Obsah knihy
Detektiv Joona Lina vyšetřuje hodně závažný zločin, velmi brutální vyvraždění skoro celé rodiny. Přežil to pouze malý kluk, který nyní není ve stavu, kdy by mohl vypovídat. A tak si detektiv Lina na pomoc zavolá odborníka na hypnózu, psychiatra Erika Maria Barka.

O autorech
Lars Kepler je pseudonym, za nímž se skrývá manželská dvojice Alexandra Coelho Ahndorilová (nar. 1966) a Alexander Ahndoril (nar. 1967). Hypnotizér se dočkal rovněž filmového zpracování v režii Lasse Hallströma. Křestní jméno pseudonymu odkazuje ke švédskému spisovateli Stiegu Larssonovi, autoru trilogie Millennium, jemuž se dvojice chtěla přiblížit žánrově i kvalitou děl. Příjmení Kepler je odkazem na astronoma Jana Keplera, s nímž je spojeno nové objevování. Stejně tak měli spisovatelé údajně v plánu použít netradiční zápletky a nechat se ovlivnit filmovou tvorbou. Pod uměleckým pseudonymem Lars Kepler se manželé Ahndorilovi rozhodli uvést detektivní román, aby je čtenáři skrze známá jména nespojovali s jejich předchozí tvorbou. Přesto byla identita autorů odhalena po vydání první knihy (Hypnotizér). Jméno hlavního hrdiny Joona je upravené biblické jméno Jonáš. Žijí ve Stockholmu a mají tři dcery.
Rozbor knihy
Hypnotizér i Paganiniho smlouva jsou knihy velmi napínavé a čtivé. Pro většinu z nás, ale pro mě byl příběh místy až moc předvídatelný a díky tomu i docela nudný. Knihy jsem dokázala zhltnout za dva dny, to nepopírám, trochu jsem se pobavila, zasmála, zanadávala na to, jak je svět nespravedlivým místem, prostě si obě knihy moc užila. Ale co dál? Proč už neotevřu ty další díly?
Kdybych neměla co lepšího na práci, tak nejsem vůbec proti. Kdyby mě chlad a nemoc připoutali na lože, asi bych neměla ani moc na vybranou. Když si však uvědomím, kolik knižních titulů na mě čeká v knihovně, tak nemám potřebu ságu sama pro sebe si ukončit. Knihy mě nikam dále neposunuly, sami o sobě už ani nepřekvapily. Nepokračuji a nemrzí mě to.
Závěrem
Knihy mohu doporučit, ale pouze jako lehké čtivo pro ukrácení chvil. Obě knihy se mi líbily avšak neuspokojily. Možná budu znít namyšleně (nebo asi spíše namyšlená jsem), ale nejspíše nepatřím mezi cílovou skupinu čtenářů, pro které jsou knihy určeny.
